MATURE LADIES...
We all like symmetries. Some say, at the beginning there was symmetry only... . To me personally, one of the splendid flashes of human intellect was combining , mathematically, symmetries with conservation laws (one-to-one). Physics was generously granted with this beautiful relation by certain mature lady ,Mrs. Emma Noether (mature women , aka "roaring fifties", can be dangerous, see Mme Marie Curie).
Although it seems that quantum physics may quite well do without symmetries , either conservation laws, people prefer to think that our world is well-organised , like garments in a cabinet of a prudent wife.
Enthropy laws were formulated on the observations of most frequent physical phenomena, like the gas filling empty container - uniformly; or heat flowing from high-to-low temperature. Except for prevailing statistics , no other constraint prohibits gas gathering by one wall only, or heat flowing from ice to water. In the fact, in microscale , both latter processes do happen, only much less then opposite.
So, we may see enthropy-reversal processes as kind of credit taken by local borrower against capital amassed by surrounding savers.
It seems therefore possible, that such "enthropy-borrowing" events can be artificially arranged , in particular at microscale, by relatively low expenditure of energy-information.
I feel we are one small step closer to explaining Information Flux Damage (IFD)....
