Ivan, help...!

A group of reknowned scientists published last week, this time from Incheon, a report encouraging nations to save the climate. One thing is sure - it will remain ineffective, as all previous.As we are economic animals, verbal calls for frugality are completely useless.People need heat, cold, mechanical energy, movement, electronics and light. Even if the globe is half-burnt,we will not give up.

Any reasonable energy alternative must be cheaper, easier, commercially available, proven and large, as large as energy needs.

There is one country which has the key to all of this; unfortunately, this country is the one which has the worst press recently - namely :Russia.

Why? Because:

- only they have tested how to built nuclear reactors underground;

- only they have cheap, simple technology of non-pressurized, light-water , low-enrichment nuclear reactors , which could be built in size up to several GW (unfamous RBMK< now developed to safer MKER), and could be located in deep , abandoned mines;

- only they know all the causes of Chernobyl GAU.

Perhaps , someday we will have to apologize , and start again to love Caviar, Troyka, Ochi Tchornye - and Underground Nuclear Power (UNP)...
